Kristin Shuts It Down. Mauri Goes Bogey-Free.

The 2025 Konopiště Open presented by Discmania delivered exactly what we hoped for: elite disc golf on the breathtaking grounds of the Franz Ferdinand Castle just outside Prague. The course demanded both control and power, with tight lines and flat terrain offering no room to fake it.

Unless you're Silva Saarinen, of course, who once again avoided throwing a forehand for three straight rounds and still finished second in Fantasy Points. Iconic.

🏆 FPO Recap – Kristin Lätt Keeps the Streak Alive

After an unusual start (bogey, birdie, double-bogey), Kristin Lätt recalibrated and did what she always does: dominate. She played the final 51 holes bogey-free, carded birdies in bunches, and finished at -26, further cementing her status as the gold standard in fantasy and on the course.

💣 MPO Recap – Mauri Villman Announces Himself

Mauri Villman came into the week as a known talent in Europe. He left it as a name the entire disc golf world now knows. Rounds of -13, -14, -13—all bogey-free—led to a total score of -40 and a 1067-rated event. It was clinical, powerful, and mistake-free.

This wasn't a breakout. It was a statement.

❗MPO Fantasy Surprises – DGPT Regulars Struggle

Europe's rising stars dominated the fantasy charts, while DGPT veterans took a collective tumble. Only Väinö Mäkelä salvaged the week for the touring regulars, finishing 6th in FP with 136.

Here's who struggled:

Niklas Anttila – Defending champ, highest-rated player in the field, just 127 FP (12th most).
Ezra Aderhold – The 7th-highest rated player in the field, just 111 FP (24th most). Ezra did have two eagles on the weekend for big points on those holes!
Jesse Nieminen – 22nd in FP with 115.
Paul Ulibarri – The 5th-highest rated player in the field, finished with 106 FP (32nd).
James Conrad – 105 FP (33rd overall).
Eric Oakley – 73 FP (79th overall).

If you banked on name-brand DGPT experience, this one stung.

🌟 FPO Fantasy Surprises – All Positives Here

The FPO field had no Americans, but plenty of standout stories—including two incredible performances from local Czech players:

Nikol Mikulastic, an amateur rated 851, qualified just days before the event—then went out and shot -6 in round one and had a one-stroke lead over rockstar Kristin Latt. She ended up on the lead card heading into round two and finished a very respectable 13th place overall.

Kristýna Jurčíková, a teenage Czech standout, played with maturity beyond her years and finished in the top 10, an incredible result against a strong European field.

Let's not be surprised if we see Kristýna Jurčíková on tour in the coming years.

🔜 Next Up: Northwest Disc Golf Championships

We return to U.S. soil this week for the Northwest Disc Golf Championships in Portland, Oregon: a DGPT+ four-round event that will bring the full American field back into play—and reintroduce our Sunday fantasy point multiplier.

Go to your league dashboard page and click the "Set Starters" button at the top right of the Teams widget. Or, just click on your own team.
Once on the Team Roster page you can select which MPO and FPO players you want to bench vs start.
Want to pick up a Free Agent? Drop a player from your team to create an open spot and then pick up any available player!
